March Weather in the Philippines

By March things are really starting to heat up across the Philippines, with temperatures in the capital Manila, reaching as high as 32°C on occasion, and in the southern parts of this vast tropical archipelago it gets warmer still.
March is still a popular time of year to visit the Philippines and the coastal resorts of El Nido, Mactan and Siargao enjoy a coastal breeze that takes the edge off the heat. Water temperatures of 27°C can be enjoyed, and you can expect around eight hours of sunshine every day.
Rain is not unknown in the Philippines during March, but you’re not likely to encounter too much of it. Head up into the mountainous Cordillera region for cooler air, although you’ll still want to find some shade around midday.
